Gottfried, I was just at the mag. section of a local supermarket and they still have the Nov. 99 issue of Popular Science on the stand, so it is likely that only subscribers will see the ad before end of the month. Not sure when the Dec. issue will reach the mag. racks in stores.

BTW I just found the following IBM announcement letter over on the Motley Fool. I was very surprised, or should I say shocked, to see this. Apparently IBM will be offering the Hi-FD 200 MB floppy/high density drives in certain of their computers beginning in mid-December. Here is the IBM announcement:

What are your thoughts on this? It can't be anything that Iomega will be thrilled to find after IBM just announced their version of the Zip 250 drives. The drive required both floppy and IDE connectors for it to work. However, with the move to drop the floppy in the new standard, I wonder why IBM invested in this form. Mel
