I don't remember Cisco selling off after earnings announcements in the past. Sometimes it has actually run up. I know last year about this time, Cisco was running hard and had doubled by Jan from Oct lows. So if history repeats itself, we're in for a good run through Jan '00. Except for the elusive Y2K effect. That could put a damper on things. Let's see what happens. I don't see any near term downside, though. I just see maybe a floundering until Jan, when folks realize that the earth hasn't exploded.
