Solaris is copyrighted and trademarked to SUNW. It is available
to non-profits in source-code to look at, but not to pirate.
There are lots of types of Unix, many of which are open-sourced
and public domain, such as FreeBSD.


Then Solaris is hardly open source, is it? And since it runs on hardware that you say no one owns not only should it be open source it should be Public Domain, don't you agree?
