Taste of the future in Home Networking and available information downloads?

bergen.com

I think it's interesting to see Intel offering wireless LAN cards for the home network offering 10 MBPS Ethernet. Microsoft has some new plug and play plans that will link all these devices.

Naturally, I want to know about this anyway, but I'll also be building a house soon and I want to wire it for maximum effect. Could also be a great sideline. So, the question is to wire, or to wire-less? What do you all think of all these radio signals buzzing through your house?

Anyway, the home is definitely looking at some sort of server like product and lots of storage for cache. Still, lots of storage at the rate of technology is only a $200 drive at best.

Regards,

Mark
