Dear Voltaire,

In the high villages of the Himalaya, dung is a valuable commodity. Yak dung patties are best, and are prized for their ability to burn. Without dung there would be no fire. Without fire there would be no rancid butter tea, no momos, no dahl bhat. There would be no rakshi to drink on a cold night at 16,000 feet.

You can also throw them like frisbees.
