or you could have just set an alert at 8 or 8 1/8 and had order prepared to enter. Level II did not in any way predict the extent of price move. The chart showed the contraction since the open high of 8 1/8 and the print showed the accumulation for the morning. Someone would have been rewarded if their stock selection was good and they were watching, how good would depend on their exit strategy. In Qcharts' fast trade rate hot list, you would have seen it jump into the top 100 fastest trading stocks with the move thru 8 in case you weren't watching.
