Strong Partner Response Stimulates Infrastructure Build-out
SALT LAKE CITY (November 9, 1999) ? In order to accommodate its strong response from
web-based service partnerships, WordCruncher Internet Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: WCTI)
announced today that it is extending the launch of its Internet service to Q1 2000.
In April 1999, WCTI announced plans to build a preeminent on-line resource to streamline the
information-gathering process for business professionals. Since the announcement, WCTI
has compiled a comprehensive, easy-to-search business site directory positioned to be
competitive with other leading directories.
WCTI also has received strong response from many of the top web-based information
services to further build its depth of content. This encouraging response has created the
need for an expanded support system to accommodate its services offered.

Due to this enthusiastic response from partners, WCTI's projected launch date would have
occurred later in Q4 1999 than anticipated. According to Lunt, the decision to launch in Q1
2000 is advantageous to reaching the target audience more effectively because its users will
no longer be distracted by the traditional holiday marketing frenzy and this year's Y2K
concerns. "Instead, business professionals will have renewed confidence in the technology
