Hi richard surckla; Didn't mean to raise a "fud" flag over the TXN suit stuff. I usually make it pretty clear when I have something to say that impacts Rambus. I don't think Intel's patent suits have much to do with Rambus at all, do you? The TXN case was long enough ago that I have forgotten about it almost completely. It never really impacted me, it was just something to read about in the papers. I was hoping that some of the old souls on the thread would be able to comment on it. It doesn't have similarities to the current situation, except in that the companies are tending towards using lawyers instead of engineers. I guess I would call that a bad thing, since I'm not a member of the bar. -- Carl
