cs, some good points. levis got rich during the gold rush, not your average gold seeker. qcom may meet expectations of 250% growth this year and 30% growth every year for the next 10 years inspite of only growing revs only 18% this year.

i'd just assign a probability to it of about 1-3% while the market assigns a probability of 110%. minor disagreement ;-)

i will say that the builders of the net ultimately rely on the end users. i say ultimately b/c it may be awhile before folks figure out end users (retail) won't make any money on the net, on average.

>> And the winners with their shareholders will be rich. SO THERE!<<

no, they ARE rich. just like the avg japanese person in 1989.

the hyper growth of the net is behind us.

the greedy will be worse financially worse off than if the net never existed.

oh, and then we get to the possibility of a recession over the next 10 years. i'd assign a high probability of a recession and the market assigns a -10% probability. if a recession hits, all bets are off.
