Art ... OW! That sounds ominous. Personally, I would prefer a fairly quiet, agreeable solution that would let the whole industry get back to work, without the need for a lot of further Government oversight --and especially without the heavy hand of Government regulation.
I will be most disappointed if, after we find that Microsoft is willing to start playing by the rules, and follow the Law, that the DoJ wants the last ounce of blood for all their troubles. I don't see how any of us win with an extreme solution, anymore than when Microsoft was out beating the hell out of potential competition.
