I wonder where billkirn gets his/hers info on future pipelines. Pfizer has been highlighted in numerous publications as having the best or second best pipeline in the industry. Factor in high R&D, first class operation in Groton, superb organizational structure, the best sales force in the industry, solid sales in all of their current products with no immediate expiration in patents. On the other hand you have AHP which has stumbled again and again in recent years, so and so salesforce, pipeline which is not exciting near term and a recent bleeding of cash due to litigation over phen-fen. I know which merger excites me and most of my colleagues with knowledge of the industry.
