OSI Executive Promotions to Accelerate Sales and Product Strategy FOLSOM, Calif., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Objective Systems Integrators (Nasdaq: OSII - news) today announced the reorganization and promotion of key sales, marketing, and product personnel in an aggressive move to capitalize on the extensive product development investment the company has made over the last few years and the dramatic changes occurring in its targeted communications market. In this market, service providers are using emerging technologies to provide a new generation of services and networks which can be managed best with open, integrated operations support systems (OSSs). The changes reflect OSI's determination to increase market penetration of its Unified Management Architecture(TM) (UMA(TM)) that enables the integration of service delivery, assurance, and usage solutions.
Dan Line, who will report to the co-CEOs, has been promoted to vice president, global sales. This promotion follows his six years of solid performance in strategic accounts, channels, and North American sales. Line is now responsible for OSI's worldwide sales and sales operations. Also promoted within the sales organization was Philippe Caymaris who has been named the managing director of European sales and operations.
Jim Olsen, vice president, marketing, will now report directly to the co-CEOs. With Olsen's continued leadership, the marketing organization will work closely with the sales and product organizations to drive OSI's world class solutions and services into the marketplace. Also promoted within the marketing organization was Randy Custeau who has been named vice president, product line management. Custeau, who now reports to Olsen, is responsible for all product management functions with an emphasis on new product launches for service delivery and service usage.
After six years of varying senior and executive management roles in the development, services, and support organizations, Jeff Boone was recently promoted to vice president, products and technology. In his new role, Boone will report to the co-CEOS. Also promoted within the products and technology organization are Sarah Kooshian, vice president, product development and Sally Sutter, vice president, technical support services. Kooshian is responsible for managing the development of service delivery, assurance, and usage products, the Unified Management Architecture, and OSI's software engineering and technology council. Sutter is responsible for software quality assurance, the Operational Testing Center, the Technical Assistance Center, technical communications, and web technology and operations.
