A.S...ANF Hope you have read this : Another stock doing well in after hours trading is Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) 25... Apparel retailer reported Q3 earnings of $0.36 a share, a nickel better than the First Call mean and well above yr-ago gain of $0.24... Sales up 24.8% year/year; same-store sales up 11% - both good numbers... More importantly, company said it remains comfortable with Q4 earnings estimates... However, Briefing.com disturbed by huge jump in inventorties (121% - or nearly 5x the rate of sales growth)... Don't expect initial response to earnings to last, as fears of future margin pressure pulls stock lower once again..
