Brian, what have you done in your life that so much good market fortune is coming your way? What's your secret?... Oh that's right I keep forgetting: buy and hold (even in down cycles). Why is there this insistence on fighting this simple (proven winner) strategy? Instead sites now proliferate with gems like the following, which promise to lead us to the Summit. Better bring a little oxygen next time...

"Sell the second high, buy the second low. After sharp pullbacks, the first test of any high or low always runs into resistance. Look for the break on the third or fourth try."

"1-2-3-Drop-Up. Look for downtrends to reverse after a top, two lower highs and a double bottom."

What's even more of a gas is when these sites then find some stock in the universe of stocks that does finally fit the model and then it is touted the next day in the site's 'see I told you so' section. Forget about the other 45 similarly situated issues that finished the 'wrong' way.

A better strategy worked for me a good while back, it was called 1-2-3-Buy. Look for solid mngmnt., growing industry economics, reasonable price (at least realitive to industry), market leader, and a ticker = AMAT <g>.
