After from being semi-bearish or cautious all year, I found it hard to put the horned helmet on and charge. But about October 25 th it seems the bears recognized there would be no (predicted) major crash and started to cover, excepting perhaps Dell.(g)
To get away for a bit, Monday I drove East 5 hrs and
found I was still in Texas, 905 miles from El Paso and getting further away from home each mile, (its only 957 miles from Copenhagen to Rome). I could see we could not make it another 600 East miles
to visit Lee and return home for earnings(hahaha).
When we crossed the Louisiana border my car sighted a
CASINO sign, automatically turned right, and died in the parking lot.
I was forced to stay overnight there on a riverboat with a
bunch of gamblers. I was playing red $5 chips (the minimum) at a
crap table, while the adjacent player used prettier ones.
The next morning I met him again when he informed me he had lost $4600. Since he was a qcom shareholder I figured it did not hurt
but he said "Well,I don't own that much".
He thought Jan was my daughter when we don't look alike
at all. Sheeeeeeeesh, as Mo would say.
My expectation for Dell is about the same as many here,will meet or beat the estimate, 18 or 19, with a some chance for a bit more.
