Your never ending ability to follow the market, and to spot new opportunities, and to be honest, critical, and loving to the thread---all of the above---are exceptional. I know you constantly repeat how you have gotten alot OUT of this thread, but in all fairness, I just felt like thanking YOU again, this morning.
Others here, lead in other ways. No question about it. And btw I have felt this way about your skills for a LONG time, watching you here. I remember fondly, the time you responded to a question from me about your background. Your wonderfully lengthy and funny response, was a classic, for me. You revealed extensively, alot of the PATH you have taken, to GET "here"... And my feelings were NOT just based on your qcom call, although that ALONE, of course makes this kind of an observation easy for most on this thread. (I wonder how many MILLIONS you made, for some here, on THAT call alone.)
I always felt that a few like you, would make the right balance, for this thread. This thread, should be the CENTER of the best investment advice, and ideas.
And I'm also having these thoughts now, because you and sig are talking. Sig has also, had this kind of an impact on me.
I ALSO have received alot from this thread. The feelings of loyalty and friendship alone, have great meaning to me. Locating "friends" you may never meet, through their writings, has been a very interesting exercise, for me. At times, I have been very critical of some here, but have only once, been "attacked". (Three days ago someone who never posts, sent me a horrible email. The guy "sounds" like a nut.)
I am only sorry, that so many "strong" persons, have been somehow lost, "along the way", of this thread...Can't figure out how to change that...Any thoughts? TIA
