From PLXT's quarterly release:

"In September 1999, an earthquake in Taiwan disrupted operations
for one of PLX's key suppliers, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing
Corporation (TSMC). Based on current PLX finished product inventory
and current TSMC product delivery schedules, PLX does not anticipate a
negative impact on future financial results as a result of the
earthquake. However, if TSMC fails to timely deliver product in the
fourth quarter 1999, PLX financial results for the fourth quarter 1999
and future quarters may be adversely affected."
