A better strategy worked for me a good while back, it was called 1-2-3-Buy. Look for solid mngmnt., growing industry economics, reasonable price (at least realitive to industry), market leader, and a ticker = AMAT
No joke, this method would have made you more money over the past decade than any other. The good news is that there has not been a shortage of cos from which to choose: AMAT(of course), CSCO, INTC, MSFT, EMC, DELL...........
Some people choose to sell these great names. Why I have no idea?
