Adrian,
I have no need of your being charitable towards me. You certainly do appear to have been effective in exposing wrongdoing in more than one instance, but in the case of CYGS you have made at least one major error. This only came to light when Greystoned referred to your article.
You state: (The younger Skllern, who successfully plea-bargained, testified that he had installed a command .....)
Maybe I'm wrong, but here in Texas we generally hold that a man cannot plea bargain unless he is charged with something. Am I wrong in that assumption? Mike was never charged nor indicted with anything. He was named in one civil action, and that has been addressed and settled.
Can you present any evidence that Mike was ever charged or indicted on charges arising from the activities of his father? I could find no substantiation of this from the prosecutor, court transcripts, first hand observation, police records or prosecutors records, and although you will not consider it good investigative technique, I spoke directly with Mike concerning the matter.
You have stated that you rely only on written documentation. (ala Stone, etal) so it should be easy for you to produce supporting documentation.
I just spoke with Mike and he again reiterated his long standing offer. If someone believes that he has done wrong, they can contact him via telephone at CYGS (713/780-1399) or e-mail via the cygs site, and he will be happy to sit down over lunch with them, or meet at the office, or wherever.
That one paragraph held two major errors ... 1) Mike was fined, and 2) that he was charged in any manner with any criminal activity arising from the American Teachers Life fiasco. (BTW - I owned ATL policies at that time and hold no resentment towards Mike.)
