I did buy...as I felt the money had to come somewhere to make Old Navy and Banana Republic succeed and that was from The Gap...I decided it comes down to the bottom line...and Opra Winfrey's promotion of the "cashmere wraps($175)" that are hot on the "runway" from Banana Republic. Like GPS much better than Abercrombie which will have good sales but will they be as good as they use to be...with so many knockoffs out there for less...and American Eagle is coming along too...JCrew has the catalog to send wrapped gifts...however; I bought, so feel it is a good retail stock for the holidays and maybe longer...If I sound a bit confused it's because I am trying to decide whether to buy NN at this low with baggage and/or rumor.
