Day traders buy and sell (flip as you say). How come these are all buys at the ask. They might have bought in this morning but they haven't sold any back? The ones that bought in Friday must have suddenly become investors as they haven't sold back yet either.

Nope. Something is fishy here. If I was an MM seeing this flow, I would be upping the price to test the limit. Some MM is leaking off a lot of inventory.
