I can't believe you are actually challenging something this basic JLA. I suggest you watch "revenge of the nerds" or read any Cringely book or literally any article about the origins of the macintosh, Lisa and windows. There is no opinion here - its a fact - the original GUI concepts were pioneered at Parc, with dynabook, etc. If Kemp is so uneducated on these matters he should keep his mouth shut, or disagree politely. Calling someone "crazy" on basic business history that he really should know is unacceptable. I also think that his poor understanding of where windows came from etc. would disqualify him to comment on any dealings with msft, had he made those comments today.
