<<If you're going to suggest that we exact a toll on Microsoft, just make sure it's one that you would live with if exacted on you! ;-)>>

Yup...that's exactly it. In fact, I don't suggest - I demand it. I don't mind living up to something I believe in - I already do so in my acceptance of my beliefs!

In short, I'm just holding MSFT up to the same standards I hold myself to so.....it has nothing to do with "they hit me first".

In fact, isn't this all one-sided since I don't have an recourse to their misgivings/lies and deceit? I can't receive a refund for my money based on product performance can I? Nor can I sue for damages if their enterprise software decides to go south and take my company with it can I?

I pay them and they tell me "too bad" and you tell me if I don't like it buy something else. Well, what happens when something else doesn't offer me a real alternative? What happens when I call a PC Maker and ask not to have MS Windows installed or MS Works or MS Office bundled and they tell me "too bad" you can always delete/remove or reformat the drive but I still have to PAY for them!

Do unto others...yeah right.
