I suspect that the Merrill and Lehman estimates were performed based on the fair value of the positions of the Company -- the fair value changes daily so one would need a dynamic model. I've seen the Merrill analysis and they did some real work on it.

In any regard, the analyses were prepared before the Nasdaq Japan formation -- as well as other asset investments and monetizations of investments -- so the target may be higher. The Steve Harmon analysis seemed a little too simpleton in its target determination, especially when contrasted with the Merrill analysis.
