Can you use both connectors on your SCSI setup?

You lost me now..my onboard scsi has two connectors that I am aware of. Maybe I need to look again. It has a 50 pin and a 68 pin. The 50 pin has my cd on it internally and is the channel I want to extend externally to feed the 50 pin Jaz. So i will need to use both the internal and the external plugs on this cable adapter that I haven't found yet. I have a hdd on the 68 pin. I know I haven';t answered your question but I'm not sure which connectors you're refering to..the ones on my mobo or the ones on the int/ext cable you described.

Which connector are you using now for your harddrives? The 50 pin? Do you have to include the internal harddrive on the same cable as the external Jaz?

The mobo 50 pin has my cd-rom and the mobo 68 pin has the one scsi drive on it. So the external Jaz channel will include the cd-rom not the hardrive.

Or will the harddrives be on one mobo SCSI connector and the external Jaz on the other?

Yes

If the mobo onboard SCSI is hard terminated you will probably only be able to use one of the two connectors.

There is an option in SCSI BIOs to auto/disable/enable the onboard scsi adapter. Sorry again I lost you about which connectors you mean :)

Will everything be 50 pin?

On this int/ext channel yes.
