My rabbit, NETP, died. That's $10k I would have missed out on had I done a buy and hold like I was thinking. Might leave some on the table sometimes, but I'd rather that than see paper profits turn to losses. It's not looking too strong at the close either. Will keep an eye on it, but reenter cautiously. Yours, CNQR, on the other hand is looking strong. Unfortunately, I had to go to a meeting, so I followed one of our dictums, "When in doubt, stay out," so I'm still sitting here all cash.

OT--Dale, one of my co-workers, a reservist, did a presentation at lunch on his stint as base commander at Tuzlo last winter. Fascinating. He's pretty conservative, but it's clear that he believes that there is a reason for us to be there, granting that we are not going to turn around centuries of hate. But at least the killing has stopped--and we are not leaving a vacuum for the Russians.

He and his people didn't go anywhere w/o flak jackets, helmets, and sidearms. Since most of the "incidents" were guys mishandling their 9mm's and shooting themselves in the extremities, you are probably safer with only a brief case as a shield <ggg>.
