You mean like someone paying thousands of dollars for a sporting event or thousands of dollars for beanie babies ... and I'm sure all the Kids coming out of college are worth millions of dollars more than Walter Payton??? Get real KIS, it's called Supply and Demand. Bezos is not pushing his stock down your throat. If you lost money because you shorted AMZN, then it's your problem.
