Welcome back, Earlie! You've been missed. Regarding the mutual fund companies borrowing from their money market funds, this is rather alarming as I too am one of the "poor guys" who has been moving IRA money out of stocks and into the core money market account under the impression that this was a much safer place for it to be. How do I assess my real level of risk? Do you fear for the large players (in my case, it's Fidelity) or just the smaller ones?
