taxman, I plan to hold my shares along with Mr. Gates but my investment has been in tax sheltered accounts--meaning i can trade in and out with no tax consequences. Currently, i am mostly out of this stock; just have a small holding.
Over the long term, this is one stock i want to own but in the short term we have to get over this negativity. Once the volume settles down, that could be the time to buy.

It is certainly starting to look like a safe investment compared to the rest of the techs. Might offer great downside protection in the event of major market correction. That is the reason that is tempting me to buy it even in the short term.

I am still long on this stock but looking for gains further down the road.
