Calma, Marc. If this company or its stock price hang in the balance
of whether there are one or two active threads, we are all in deep
trouble. That being said, I do understand your reaction. However,
it may be of the reflexive variety. No one here has not endured
the "heat of the kitchen", in one form or another. Indeed, it were
quite impossible especially for those veterans who have demonstrated
their asbestos exteriors.

If the purpose of an NPEC thread, whether one or many, is "to
promote this thing" as you have boldly asserted, with the concern
that thread dilution "halves its (promotional?) potential", then
I fear we are walking separate paths. Unlike the late, unlamented
Dr. Vainglorious and his Traveling Medicine Show, there are those,
including myself, whose primary mission here is not promotion of this
particular stock or stocks. Indeed, we view this vehicle as a forum
where ideas, good or ill, about particular companies are shared and
thrashed out. If the stock appears to hold up to intense scrutiny
and others are attracted to the table by the odor of opportunity,
so much the better. However, to contend that our foremost motive
here is the energetic promotion of a stock and that we ill serve
your wishes here by splitting our attention between threads is
to ignore, if not affront, those who are here to engage in honest
dialogue and informed discussion. Not all of us would feel
comfortable as passengers and bit players in Dr. Painglorious'
Traveling Medicine Show.

That being said, the better question is why this thread persists.
The answer may be the difference between a high tech, albeit
stiff, sneaker and a comfortable, albeit well-worn, walking shoe.
