Bond prices tumble on better-than-expected news

The Labor Department reported Friday that the U.S. unemployment rate rose to 5.6 percent in May from April's 5.4 percent. However, Labor also said the economy created 348,000 non-farm jobs in May -- far more than the 150,000 to 170,000 most analysts had expected. Bond prices plummeted on the stronger-than-expected payrolls news.

In the past timely news was available at the Wall Street Journal Money & Investing update edition... with their new Interactive edition they have at least a full half day delay... I complained to them already with no precise answer...
