Dave, the shareholding meeting being on Dec 19 and the split date being Dec 29 rules out the possibility of a 3 for 1 split in the near term. However, at the shareholder meeting, they may be increasing the authorized shares to higher levels so that the next stock split can be done rather quickly instead of having to wait 3 months--ie. about 1 month after the announcement of a future split.
This last announcement around the end of September and if they had enough authorized shares, we could have been trading post split by end of October. To avoid this problem, i think we could have a significant increase in authorized shares at the annual meeting next month.
