Heinz, in the "old days" I would have agreed whole-heartedly; in fact the expectation of a strong January was so strong that I took some money off the table late last December. (Including GMST and QCOM, which I intended to hold long-term.) I may be wrong again, but it does look as if it's cast in stone and we will still probably see a blowoff into the early part of next year. I also agree that the yellow dog will continue to bark a while longer. Contradictory? Perhaps in the "old days". But the mania allows room for both stocks, bonds and gold to all rise simultaneously.
