V.G., As we all know there's a cloud of doom and gloom sorrounding MSFT, and it's in prison until there's a settlement. Looks like Joel Klein is not backing off a bit, so this is an "embattled" stock. Not good to mess in "embattled" stocks because they carry a smell and nobody wants to go near them. There are plenty of good plays with companies with only good stories, I like Cisco right now, for example.

But this is Microsoft, the king of all stocks. I believe there's a 40 point run just waiting to get out if there's a settlement. What I'd do is lay low, hope for a nice dip, and if a dip comes, maybe in December buy lots of February options 15-20 points out of the money for fractions on a pure raw speculation play. Other than that, I'm staying away and putting my speculation capital elsewhere where there isn't a war going on.
