Personally, I have found lockups expiration a great time to short a stock for the short term. Usually stock will dip for a day or two and if the company is strong it will rebound quickly. I saw it happen with RBAK twice. It is one that stuck in my mind but there are other examples, as well.

You have to be very cautious shorting a strong company just on lockup expirations alone because they can turn around quickly. I wouldn't even recommend it unless you have LVL 2 access. IMHO
