Is news necessary to justify the price increase? Maybe not. Optical transport and optical components, terabit routers and fibre channel have all been the subject of intense board discussion, investment and technical conferences along with wildly optimistic growth projections. The leaders in these areas have seen their stocks explode in the last few weeks. Are we simply seeing a belated recognition of MRVCs participation in all these areas along with a bit of a short panic?
