I agree with you. We cannot vouch for the authenticity of anyone else on these message boards unless we personally know them. The fact that a person is willing to disclose personal profile information does not necessarily make him or her a better or more trustworthy person than one who does not, especially on the Internet! People who say they will not respond to someone merely because they don't have a profile are snobby. Do people walk up to others at a meeting, party or other gathering and refuse to chat with them unless they first disclose all of their profile information? John Hull, the Intel Investor Relations Manager, has responded in SI to those without profiles, yet to others, including Jules B. Garfunkel, the initiator of this thread, a person apparently is not good enough to participate without one (Note his start-up message said: WE REQUIRE YOUR FULL PROFILE TO PARTICIPATE). What does this tell us about these two gentlemen? I am here to say that you, myself and anyone else may post to this thread whenever they desire, according to SI's rules and no one else's. Michael
