MB: Glad to see that you have aired the MSFT "greatest lies of the decade" scene. This one had my jaw on my chest. "Computer sales are awesome",.... yes of course,.... so how come you had to reach into the deferred revenue cookie jar to make the quarterly number? And how come every single reseller is reporting ugly results and even worse forecasts? As you note, Microsplit felt the need to lay one heck of a big fib on the public to hopefully bolster Q4 buying. I don't think it will have much impact. This season is likely to witness "significant" price pressures and inventories are going to be a post Christmas wet blanket. Best, Earlie
