Speaking of the wisdom of generations not being passed on, what were the games we used to play when we were herds of kids roaming our neighborhoods on warm summer nights? What did we used to do when we weren't wasting time with a stupid television? Baseball, using sewer lids as bases? Hide and go seek? Girls played jacks and other inscrutable games. All I know is we were blissfully free of the evil presence of the adult world with our impromptu games. The poor kids of today are stuck with soccer league and other adult-monitored horrors.
