That's exactly my feelings about the "anti-Rambus coalition." They do indeed have an agenda.

As for Bert McComas' article, I don't think it's all BS. But there are still many questions about Micron's DDR north bridge that remain unanswered. For example, when will we actually see it in a real product, and who's going to manufacture it? And if it does turn out that DDR is indeed better, faster, or cheaper than RDRAM, how do we know that DDR will indeed push RDRAM out of the way given that RDRAM already has a headstart?
