SelectNet/Pearl Technologies won the award for their service as a Systems Integrator, in partnership with Active Voice (Nasdaq:ACVC), Cisco (Nasdaq:CSCO) and Rhythms NetConnections Inc. (Nasdaq:RTHM). This prestigious award was bestowed by the editorial staff of Internet Telephony and CTI magazines.

SelectNet/Pearl Technologies worked as a team with Active Voice, Cisco and Rhythms to provide efficient, quality service to the over 2,000 participants at the show. SelectNet provided the Internet Backbone services for the show over Rhythm's DSL lines. Pearl Technologies demonstrated the Cisco AVVID IP Telephony phone system integrated with Active Voice Unity, while using Rhythms DSL to connect the booth with the home office in Carlsbad.
SelectNet/Pearl Technologies conducted outside phone calls (inbound and outbound), called other inside extensions (both AVVID phones and legacy PBX phones), accessed voice mail (Active Voice Unity and SelectNet's Legacy internal voice mail) and sent/received electronic mail via Microsoft Exchange. SelectNet/Pearl Technologies was also the only exhibitor to show voice mail and email both visible in the same mailbox.
