Except that our banking system is not a free market. it is a government funded (through) insurance quasi-govermental agency. And we had in this country over 12000 local banks that lent money to local business but NOOOOOO the government decides that they want only a few big banks, and closes the rest. (actually as I understand the game plan they want 12, on for each federal reserve district). Very friggin' symetrically, don't you think? Duke
