That is an awfully neat post, Penni. A savorer. Every sentence. Magic! I can't believe the Children's Room is named after your mother! You must be really proud of that. Well, not just proud, uhm....what's the word....it's kind of enchanting. That isn't the word, but ~ I can't find it. I stopped and thought there, and _____________ Bzzt.

(Should have spent more time in the Children's Room.)

Yah! Just gobble up some land ~ building houses is the easier part. And heck, there's always trailers.

I bet ~ did you see any kitties?

We always see a kitty doing something somewhere when we go traveling. On our Fall color drive, there was a bowl with a kitty in front of it on the steps of the general store in the next town over. Waiting for his food. Pointing, virtually.

You sit facing this way.

Stupid humans.

I like a town that has 700 people, one store, and the store has a porch with wooden steps and a cat bowl on it. With a water dish. And the door squeaks and slams, and the aisles are like sea shanties because the foundation's been settling.

We have those all over the place here. I love them.

There are always funny peculiar shelves with a can of tomato sauce, and some matches, and a bar of Fels Naptha.

It's a lot better than the electric doors at Safeway. Even though they have food in the Safeway.

It's better.

Well, if you don't need food.
