..guess is that Open IP Environment [OIE] is not about IP but IOS Why should that be ? Sure, Ciscos IOS is Trademarked and the source code is not available to the public but all it does is to implement ip in the open, standard fashion according to the RFC's. Tis like NT and Windows--That source code is not available either and besides, in the MSFT case, what the software does is not a Standard, in the sense that the RFCs are.
