Possibilities: Decadence, religion, lack of religion, psychopathic impulses, poor parenting, violent movies-music-media, lenient punishment, inspired hatred, innate hatred, anger and frustration, greed, drugs... There's no simple answer, and no simple solution. I agree, taking guns away won't help. It's the motive, not the weapon, that is dangerous. People are just afraid of guns. In a single moment you can be killed without a chance to even put up a fight. The problem is, in a single moment you or another driver can lose control of a car and die, or a heart attack can take you in an instant at any given time, even in youth. A meteor could fall from the heavens and land on your head. The extreme fear of guns is just irrational. |
