HERNDON, Va. and WESTBORO, Mass., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- NETRIX Corporation's (Nasdaq: NTRX - news)
and OpenROUTE Networks, Inc.'s, (Nasdaq: OPEN - news) award-winning Internet Telephony products have been adopted
by Sonic Telecommunications International, Ltd., (Sonic Telecom) as that company's Voice over Packet Solution for voice and
data services. Sonic Telecom, an international digital communications solutions provider, has already begun the implementation
phase installing NETRIX/OpenROUTE equipment in several of its major telecommunications points of presence with significant
quantities of additional NETRIX/OpenROUTE equipment to immediately follow.

Based in Chantilly, Virginia, Sonic Telecom provides seamless end-to-end international multimedia service and billing by the
byte for international broadband communications over its ATM network. Sonic Telecom's state-of-the- art network is designed
and maintained to provide high-speed service for video, voice and data traffic.
