dwight, I asked several legitimate questions and expressed my desire to hear John's perceptions. My questions were ignored and responded to with a question. I was only trying to elicit a response to my questions, but thanks for your opinion.
The market appears to be discounting this most recent announcement (at this point GMGC is flat for the day and about where it was at the close prior to the announcement)as just another attempt to salve investors wounds resulting from the dismal earnings report, and the attendant revelation that most of the important alliances announced over the past year or so have gone to the scrap heap, and those that haven't aren't likely to generate material revenues/profits.
This doesn't make me happy, and I cannot believe it makes other happy either, so I assume they must be attemtpting to understand WHY. It isn't because this isn't a good deal, it's because they don't know that it is, and because they fear that, like so many others, it isn't. And why do they fear that it really isn't material? Because past experience tells them that GMGC is adept at entering into agreements that sound good, but bring little or nothing to the company in terms of revenues and profits.
I find it hard to believe that anyone thinks this management team is the least bit capable! They have proven they are not, and I feel that those who simply keep talking in wonderful glowing terms about the prospects of this company should instead begin to discuss what the company needs to do differently in order for it to become the success it has the potential to be. In my opinion a managerial change is an absolute necessity as current management has proven, beyond a shadow of a doubt, their ineptness. |
