Tom: Thanks for the response .... In early 1999, Wall Street came calling at AmeriNet's door. Major funding for the company came from an investment group led by Global Retail Partners, a fund managed by Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, (known in the financial community as ("DLJ"). Principals in Global Retail Partners include DLJ, Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft, and Carrefour S.A., the world's largest international retailer. There are some real heavy weights here ... All too often the winner of a law suit is the one with the most money that can hire world class lawyers, if needed. Well, as always, time will tell!
