That's not the impression that I got. I think that the author was trying to say that the "trigger" for a cancer could be a bacterial infection. I'll agree with that. Again, effective treatment there probably wouldn't require a new antibiotic, and I therefore don't see the relevance for MCDE, CBST, etc.

However, much of what the author said focused on viruses that have already been ass'd with malignancy. Suggest starting with Cantab, if you want to start exploring those avenues..... you want to look not only at HPV projects, but also at various herpes viruses. I guess that you're correct in a sense, that the MCDE spinoff, Iconix, is a play here.
