I visited Pure-Atria at Westech today and the people there were excited about the merger. They think the sales channels are complementry and the products fit nicely together. Seems like companies are always excited to merge with Rational since the mergers have always been successful. The Pure-Atria people also stated that the combined company will be the most dominant force in the software development world. Sounds like they expect the merger to go through.
